Infectious diseases

Ok my assignment question is: "what infection control guideline is relevant to service and the source of best practice for child care services?"

I would think the answer is hand washing, high hygiene standards and ensuring all children are immunised.

but then the next part of the question is; "what practices do you need to follow to minimise the spread of infectious diseases?"

so then i would also say washing hands and the appropriate times to do so etc, following centre policies on infectious diseases.

am i interpreting this incorrectly as the same question asked two different ways? please help if you are able
