Post by becceb » Wed Nov 14, 2012 12:14 pm

Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCPR301C, PROVIDE EXPERIENCES TO SUPPORT CHILDREN'S PLAY, ASSESSMENT ACTIVITY 6, QUESTION 2
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
Hey everyone Im a bit stuck on thinking of 10 questions for this below:
Make a list of 10 questions that you could ask children or their parents/guardians to identify children’s individual interests and needs?

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
What kind of questions does it mean? like do you write what is your favourite toy at home? do you prefer playing outside?
Not sure if im going in the right direction with this question.

Thanks!!

You are on the right track becceb. Things like - does you child have particular interests? Do they play sports/attend any outside groups. Also in relation to needs - things what is their normal sleeping routine, do they have any gross motor or fine motor needs? (then you could organise play to help these develop further)
Do they enjoy group activities, solitary etc. It is really an endless list.
Hope this is of help
