CHCECE010 -Matching experience with statements

Post by Charanya » Mon Jul 11, 2016 3:31 pm

Hi,

In one of the questions, I've been requested to match the experiences with the statement. Below is my answer. It is partially correct. Kindly help

Support children to understand and accept responsibility for their own actions - Asking a preschool child to assist you in cleaning play equipment they've drawn on

Create opportunities for one on one interactions - Talking to and singing to a baby during nappy change

Model care and empathy and respect for children - Hug and reassure staff who is upset

Join in play and social experiences with other children - Encouraging preschool children to play make believe in a cubby as a group

Assist or support children when they are having difficulty understanding each other - Sitting with two toddlers to assist them to take turns in building block towers after one of the toddlers had kept on knocking it down

Model language that children can use to express ideas and negotiate roles- Read a story to toddlers and allow them to join when they are comfortable

Assist children to develop trusting relationships with educators - Sit on the floor and embrace and acknowledge the babies as they arrive

Encourage children to respect and regard each others differences - Use mirrors to examine and discuss chidren's differences

Offer children play choices and respect children’s choice to observe - Use open ended questions like "What would you like to use", "How would you like to play", " What would you like to be" , etc.

Thanks in advance
