CHCCN302A - Direct and Indirect Ways Children experience Feelings and Emotions

Post by Steffelz » Sun Aug 07, 2011 9:06 pm

MODULE: CHCCN302A Childrens emotional need question. Need some feedback on my answer

The Question Im busy with is
LIST BOTH DIRECT AND INDIRECT WAYS THAT CHILDREN MIGHT EXPERIENCE FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS IN A CHILDCARE SETTING.
My answer so far is
DIRECT
verbal language
Body language
facial expressions
movements/gestures
clapping
laughing smiling crying
using sounds eg gasp of shock, squeel of delight etc.

INDIRECT
Becomming withdrawn
Outbursts of anger or agression
Rejecting comfort
Crying and sobbing
Behaving out of character to normal
becomming more clingy to carer than normal
appetite change
Regression of self help skills
sleep problems
Art and creativity
preference for personal space

Im not sure if this is all of them or if the answer is right or if theyre in the right lists,
any feedback would be awesome
thanks :)
