CHCCHILD401B - Exploitation Of Children

Post by iyaree » Wed Dec 11, 2013 7:17 pm

Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCCHILD401B Identify AND RESPOND TO CHILDREN AT RISK
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Basic Knowledge

Your Question?
Outline common legal issues that may arise in your day to day work in the area of exploitation of children

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
My understanding on exploitation invloves sexual and child labour so i am so confused....
though i have looked it up and it is "advantage is being taken of the child’s lack of power and status"

i guess maybe privacy of the children - not taking photos and displaying them or taking them outside of the centre.
making sure all ppl in centre have police clearance
confidentiality over personal records.
making children do something they are not comfortable doing by force ??
talking, gossiping, putting photos on the internet
selling childrens artwork ????

Description and Message:
this one i am stumped on so any guidance would be great.
