CHCSAC005 Foster the holistic development and wellbeing of the child in school age care (Diploma SAEC)



1) Research and choose three (3) core principles of child development e.g. sequence, individual differences, maturation, cultural context and interconnected. Describe how each principle will influence your daily practices with children. Answer in approximately 150 words for each principle.

Imaginative Play Outcome 5 Areas of development - Language , Literacy and numeracy This core give children the opportunity to understand the world ex: play with doctors set. children will be a doctor and the dolls patients they will , using their imagination, looking after the dolls and using verbal language and non verbal language.
Interacting with others Outcome 3 - Areas of development fine motor skills , cognitive- children playing with playdough they will explore hands fine motor skills and they will interact at the table with friends sharing tools , making shapes using their communication skills.
Gross motor skills Outcome 3 - Areas of development gross motor skills, cognitive -using dance class children interest in their peers dance together in a small group , children respond with movement clap, step side to side, move their arms and legs, jumping . children respond verbal and non verbally following the educator with moviments. they will show enthusiastic.
