Q: Describe in your own words the difference between legal issue and ethical issue.Provide an example for each.

Answers:Ethical issue is anything that a person believes to be right or wrong that generally comes down based on personal opinion or a persons belief or philosophy while legal issue is any act done by a person whether he/she thinks it is right or wrong, whether it conforms to the law and needs legal expertise.
Example of Ethical Issue
A parent of a child in the 2-3 year old childrens room asked a staff not to allow her child to join a Birthday Celebration of onether child because they are not celebrating Birthdays and its against their religion. After picking up her son, while on the car the child told his Mum how delicious the foods are brought by Andre's mum and how they sing Happy Birthday to John. The next day the Mum complained to the centre's Director.

Example of Legal Issue
A situation wherein a staff allows a person who is not in the enrolment form to pick up a child from the centres. The staff just release the child without doing some verification procedures such as drivers licence and did not even bother to call the parents to verify for the persons identity. This issue might affect the staff and the parent my brought this issue to the court on legal grounds for negligence for releasing their child to the wrong person.
